Seawall and breakwater construction is currently underway on Mizuna Island, which may affect the scenery and water quality. The boat snorkeling points may be changed accordingly.

Frequently asked questions about this plan

Q. Are there shower toilets, changing rooms, and lockers on Mizuna Island?

Showers are available for a fee (100 yen / 30 seconds per minute) and are water showers that are integrated with the changing rooms. Toilets are located next to the shower rooms and at the waiting area for boat passengers.

Lockers will be 300 yen per day and 500 yen for large lockers.

*Lockers are limited.

Q. Is there a place to have lunch?

Up the hill from the beach, there is a parlor in a two-story wooden deck building that sells barbecue, light meals (curry rice/taco rice/yakisoba/ drinks/alcohol/shaved ice), etc.

Q. Do you have a parking lot?

Yes, of course, parking is available. Free parking is available in the parking lot at the port where we meet.

Q. Will the event be held even if it rains?

The event will be held even if it rains, as long as there is no threat of thunderstorms.

Even if it rains, it is the same once you dive into the ocean. Rain in Okinawa is often squalls and it often clears up suddenly.

The tour will be held unless there is heavy rainfall, which may hinder the operation of the boats or make it impossible for the beach monitors to monitor the beach. However, the plan and schedule may be changed or cancelled due to weather or ocean conditions or sudden deterioration on the day of the event.
